Add PostOnce in Claude

This page is for Team and Enterprise workspaces that can add a custom connector. Connected means an Owner added the PostOnce MCP URL, each person clicked Connect, and they hit Allow in the browser. After that Claude can list accounts already on the workspace and save unscheduled drafts. It waits for a yes before publish or schedule. Personal Claude.ai has no public catalog, so you will not find PostOnce by browsing connectors. Never paste passwords, 2FA codes, refresh tokens, or API keys into the chat.

MCP URL

Remote MCP. Leave OAuth client id and secret empty so Claude can register. The server must be reachable from Anthropic's cloud, which this URL is.

https://postonce.app/api/mcp

How to add it on Team or Enterprise

Only an Owner or Primary Owner can add a custom connector for the organisation. Members cannot browse a public catalog and pick PostOnce. After the Owner adds it, each person still has to Connect with their own PostOnce login.

  1. As Owner, open Organization settings → Connectors. Some workspaces label this Admin settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add. Hover over Custom, then choose Web. If you only see Add custom connector, that is the same control.
  3. Name it PostOnce. Paste the public MCP URL above, including /api/mcp.
  4. Leave Advanced settings empty unless you already registered an OAuth client. Click Add.
  5. Each member opens Customize → Connectors, finds PostOnce (usually labelled Custom), and clicks Connect. Sign in to PostOnce in the browser and hit Allow.
  6. In a chat, open the + menu (lower left), choose Connectors, and enable PostOnce for that conversation.

Claude labels move. If you see Organization settings, Admin settings, or Customize → Connectors, it is the same paste. The server URL does not change.

Personal Claude.ai has no public catalog listing for PostOnce. If your own plan already shows Add custom connector under Customize → Connectors, that control is the same URL; leave the OAuth client id empty. Members who can see the connector but cannot use tools usually skipped Connect, or left the conversation toggle off.

After you connect

Ask Claude to list your PostOnce accounts first. Then ask for an unscheduled draft, read the copy and the targets, and say yes only when you want it scheduled or published. Review tool approvals before you click Allow always. If Instagram or TikTok is missing, Claude should send you to postonce.app/accounts and stop. It must not ask for passwords, 2FA codes, refresh tokens, or API keys in the chat. Claude Code on a laptop that cannot open a browser still uses an API key from Settings → More → API access; that key never goes in the thread. Details are on the MCP page. Hosted MCP can pull a public image or video URL onto the PostOnce CDN; files dropped into the Claude chat still cannot.

Prompts that work in Claude

Use these after PostOnce is enabled for the chat. Say no if Claude offers to publish.

  • “Use the PostOnce custom connector. List the accounts already connected on this workspace.”
  • “Confirm which PostOnce user and plan this connector is signed in as.”
  • “Draft an unscheduled PostOnce post that says “New batch live Friday. Collection from 11.” Use an Instagram account I already connected. Do not publish.”
  • “Quote the draft copy and the chosen accounts. Stop there. Do not schedule.”

Price

PostOnce Solo is €15/month, or €12/month billed yearly (€144/yr). Pro is €30/month, or €25/month billed yearly (€300/yr). Those are VAT-inclusive list prices: no per-channel fee, no free plan, and signup is Lemon checkout.

Buffer Essentials is $6 per channel monthly, or $5 per channel if billed yearly, so five connected accounts is $30/month on monthly Buffer ($25/month effective yearly). Post Bridge's public Creator plan is $29/month for 15 connected accounts. Solo at €15/month sits against Post Bridge Creator at $29/month, and against Buffer at $30/month for five channels. Those figures are EUR and USD as published.
